Bookmarking issues I have found no way to add found pages directly to another browser's
bookmarks (e.g., MS IE, Firefox). My obvious solution was to open the found link and then to
drag it to my desktop for future incorporation into Safari.
Finding key words in the found digests Rather than scanning digest one at a time, I
attempted to use the product s find feature to find a particular set of keywords in the found list
of digests. It didn't work.
DEVONagent is a great search tool. I ended up finding almost all of what I needed to know,
rapidly, and with fewer irrelevant hits than by doing advanced Boolean query supported searches
in Google. After only a few searches, I knew that this program was a keeper.
DEVONagent, as I've discovered and shared, is more than a simple search aid, although
simplicity is built into its interface. It should be of use to all who search the Internet, but is best
focused at users who hunt for generalized information that popular search engines either
completely miss or bury in 10,000 hits. Indeed, even is fast scan mode I get more relevant results
than when using Google's advances search feature.
An AAUG reviewer recently noted the best thing about this program, in my opinion, is how it
presents those results. The standard pages view lists excerpts from each page much like a
normal search engine would. The digest view associates various returns to related key words
that it lists in a side panel. Once you select one of those augmenting terms the results panel
presents a list of only the results that contain that relevant cross reference.
