Simon 2 by David Sinclair has been around for a
while, but it has recently been updated to version
2.0c5. So what does it do? Simply, it monitors
websites and servers for changes or failures as a
watchdog app.
Notifications can be set to be either Emails, sound,
voice or other. If you monitor sites, this runs in the
background. If you have mission critical servers, this
watchdogs those too. If you want to check your ISP's
server, find out about downloads, track polls, or even
manage auctions, This app can do it using Action,
Email, Launch, Sound Speech or Customized notifiers.
